Together with the Martini Hospital Groningen, we are studying the clinical accuracy of our patient specific osteosynthesis. The first results of our two-plate technique have been published. Follow-up results expected soon.
3D VSP was granted EU funding to work on replacing the manual, expert-driven workflows with digital, (semi-)automated pipeline. Parts of the project are automated segmentation, planning, fabrication and quality control. Using this project, we aim to boost capacity, cut errors and speed up the delivery of our patient specific instrumentation.
With 3D VSP’s support, the dissertation ´Virtual Surgical Planning in patient-specific osteosynthesis’ has been published. This research explores advanced workflows and technologies such as AI-driven segmentation and customized implant design.
